Read Aloud

Read Aloud is a literacy activity for parents and children age 0 – 3, designed to get the whole family excited about reading and learning together. The Read Aloud program is lead by IMPACT staff. Each month focuses on a new theme, so that we can practice monthly vocabulary through books, songs, games, and conversation. Parents can develop their own English language skills while helping and supporting their children's language acquisition.

All Read Aloud activities are designed so that they can be done at home, as well as at IMPACT. We hope to supplement this program with a lending library that allows families increased access to books at home as well. Read Aloud happens at IMPACT once a week.
